Teaching
The Skills That Save Lives!
Every year 250,000 Americans die from sudden cardiac
arrest and 4,000,000 injuries occur in the workplace. Community Emergency
Response Training & Service
provides the training and the emergency skills needed by lay
rescuers and Healthcare Providers alike.
C.E.R.T.S. is an American Heart Association Training Center. We have put
together a team of over 80 instructors with established teaching experience with
the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross, the National Safety Council,
and New York State Emergency Medical Services. Many of our Instructors
are Emergency Medical Technicians or Paramedics with actual ambulance
experience able to bring a unique pre-hospital perspective to the
classroom.
Teaching CPR and other emergency skills
is not new, but the concept of combining the resources of our community ambulance
corps and fire departments is - and we are better able to offer
classes that are efficient, convenient, and economical.
Classes are often
scheduled at local Ambulance Corps or Fire Halls, but can also be scheduled at a
time and location best
suited to accommodate the training needs of your staff.
As an AHA Training Center, we also provide Americam Heart Association
BLS Instruction courses and Course Completion Cards for classes taught
by your AHA instructors, and we are committed to doing so in a timely
and efficient manner. ________________________________________________________________________ American Heart Association
